It's more of a Mexican style bar setting the service was nice and polite food fresh hot and served with in a decent time frame and I would go back to enjoy myself again.

The Chile relleno was not quite was I was expecting but was delicious. It wasn't deep fat fried which I loved but it could have used a bit more cheese. The margaritas can be ordered with a corona and are delish!

Every single person that I came here with complained that they didn't enjoy their experience here. That was probably why they all stared at me when I completely finished my plate. I'm sorry, authentic Mexican food is my jam and I don't care what others think, order the right thing and you won't have a problem. I know what I like and after a quick once over of the menu I already knew what I wanted. But let's not get too far ahead. Upon our arrival to the area we all scoped out what was around for food. I was all for Mexican and my mind was set on that. A lot of people were wavering. Initially it was just going to be me and my one friend, but as we made our way out of the hotel we kept bumping into people we knew and our party kept growing. We made the short walk here and inside. They accommodated how much our party grew quickly. They threw some tables together so we could all sit together. I had a hard time getting into my seat as it was against the wall and there was this little outing of the wall that kept me from flawlessly sitting down. Once seated I was good to go. Our service was a bit slow at times, but I chalk that up to the server giving us enough time to look over our menus. Drink orders were taken and it was a while before they showed. But when they showed the chips and salsa accompanied. If a meal could just be chips and salsa, I would have went just with that. But I hadn't eaten all day and I needed food food. I went with 34. On the menu it is titled 'Four Enchiladas.' I feel like there could be a song there. You get a beef, cheese and onion, chicken, and bean. Ground beef, shredded chicken, your typical filling. It looked a bit of a mess on the plate, but tasted oh so good. I got rice and beans to accompany as well. The enchiladas were amazing, one by one they went down and the sloppiness played into my plan for the plate once most was consumed. I like to mix things on my Mexican plates. Kind of give myself a taco salad. When this comes with lettuce and sour cream that just played it up a bit more. Bite after bite I got it all down and kind of wanted more. All the while each one of the people that added themselves to our party complained. I wanted to say that they could have went elsewhere, but I was too busy enjoying myself. For my one true meal that day. I was happy. I wasn't hangry anymore and I was more able to focus on what I needed to be doing.

I ate here as my last go to place when visiting Montgomery Alabama for the first time. The tacos are great. I liked the quesadilla. Good to take some back to the hotel or AirBnb. Keep in mind there are not a lot of restaurants open late. This is one of there very few.

I don't know how this place is only 3 stars. 5 stars for sure. The service starts off with free chips and salsa. The service is EXCELLENT and quick. My appetizer was the steak quesadillas which was filled with steak marinated well. For my entree I had the Jalapeño Steak - which is a large ribeye marinated well and topped with onions and peppers it enhance the flavor! I also order the Medium margarita which you can drink like juice and still is strong. Highly recommend.
